The Birmingham Mom Collective | Resources for New Mamas

Are you a new or expecting mom living in the Birmingham area? If so, the Birmingham Mom Collective (BMC) is a valuable resource you should know about! This group of empowered women share resources, stories, tips, and advice with each other to support one another during this wonderful journey. The Birmingham Mom Collective is more than just a Facebook group or website – it is an ever-evolving online space where mothers from the Birmingham area can come together to help one another with everything from what kind of car seat to buy to providing postpartum advice and support.

I am participating in a blog circle this month and have an amazing photographer to share with you at the bottom of this post!  Be sure to check her out.

The Birmingham Mom Collective and What they are About

The Birmingham Mom Collective understands the unique needs of motherhood and is dedicated to providing helpful, relevant content and connections to new and expecting moms in the area. The BMC provides resources in many forms sometimes even offering access to community events and discounts. Members receive regular email newsletters highlighting everything from discounts at local mom-owned businesses to new classes or activities that can help to improve health, mental well-being, and social lives. BMC members can join local mom groups and chatrooms to meet new people and discuss topics ranging from potty training tips to struggles with postpartum depression. Connecting with other moms through BMC’s safe space can provide the emotional support and understanding many mothers crave during this challenging transition into motherhood. The Birmingham Mom Collective also hosts online chats and support groups specifically for new and expecting moms. They understand the importance of self-care, so the group regularly holds workshops on parenting tips and lifestyle strategies, such as money-saving tips for grocery shopping and many of these resources help reduce stress and increase overall confidence in parenting. Members also have access to a wealth of information through blogs, videos, podcasts, and discussion forums on the group’s website. The Birmingham Mom Collective strives to help mothers live happier, healthier lives. They are passionate about their mission of empowering women and making motherhood a little easier by connecting moms to relevant information, resources, and events that they can use to take care of themselves. This is only the beginning of what the Birmingham Mom Collective offers to new and expecting moms. Whether you need a helpful resource or a listening ear, the BMC has got you covered!

I find it an absolute joy to photograph families during some of their most precious memories.  As a Birmingham Mom Collective contributor I get to help the most wonderful families at all stages of their parenting journey.  I would absolutely love to have a chat with you about an experience with me.  I am so very passionate about not only getting your memories printed for your home but also serving you.  You have enough on your plate right now.  Lets not let those images sit unseen on a USB drive, but lets also not add another thing to your to-do list.  From the details of picking outfits to designing to delivery, I will handle it all so you don’t have to.  In order to give my clients this luxury service, I only take a limited number of clients per month so contact me as soon as possible to get on my calendar.
