4 Reasons You Need to Be Shopping at Storkland in Montgomery

If you are anything like me, Storkland in Montgomery is really the best place to go for your baby’s nursery furniture in Montgomery. I really love things that are special and that will hold up over time. I feel bored when I look at the furniture options in big places like Target. Storkland not only has quality furniture and baby gear, but they are so stylish and beautiful! Luxury linens, solid wood poplar, heirloom cribs. This is just a small list of all the Storkland has to offer. I’ve put together a list of reasons you might want to shop at Storkland. And yes….the brands they carry have a lot to do my reasons! Nothing beats quality. Here are four reasons you should check out Storkland in Montgomery!

Storkland Nursery Furniture

From Dolci baby to Million Dollar Baby the furniture selection is just dreamy. Just one of the crib selections from Million Dollar Baby has me wishing I knew about this company when I had my babies! The Darlington crib is made of Solid poplar hardwood has been tested for over 10,000 chemical emissions and VOCs. This product is painted with lead and phthalate free paint and meets or exceeds ASTM International and U.S. CPSC safety standards. Million Dollar Baby meets some of the world’s most strict chemical emissions requirements. This is just one example of how Storkland is the superior choice by offering products that contribute to cleaner indoor air and the health and safety of your family and home. As I was reading about the Darlington Crib HERE I couldn’t help but be SO impressed at all the thoughtful details that went into the design! This particular crib has delicate lines, gently detail molded tapered feet, and a lush upholstered back panel. I know you just read “lush upholstered back” and thought “that’s going to get so dirty”. They have actually hidden hardware that allows you to remove the linen fabric on the back panel for easy upholstery customization and cleaning. Can you believe that?!! Now I want to go to Storkland just to see this magical crib myself!

Storkland Baby Gear

Don’t even get me started on baby gear. If you asked my husband what my favorite thing to buy for my babies was I think he would either respond “strollers” or “anything UPPAbaby”. Guys. Listen. UPPAbaby is unmatched in quality. I have had 6 children over a 10 year span and have owned so many strollers and carseats I lost count. The Uppababy wins the prize on multiple levels. Design, style, quality, sturdiness, ease of use, safety….I could go on. And guess what! Storkland carries Uppababy! The only gear you will ever need. By my last two babies I was also able to get my hands on their infant carseat and again. Unmatched quality. If you don’t want to just take my word for it, go head over to Storkland and try it out for yourself. You will be SO impressed! They also carry Britax which is a baby gear company that has been around for years and sells some of the best carseats in the business. Sorry Britax, I still like UPPAbaby better! Chicco is also one of the brands you will find at Storkland. I actually had a Chicco carseat for one month and regretted the purchase and returned it for an UPPAbaby. No shade to Chicco….but UPPAbaby has my heart. And they also carry the infamous Doona stroller/carseat chameleon if that’s more your thing. If you haven’t heard of it, its a carseat that actually turns into a stroller with a little flick of the wrist. Quite ingenious!

Storkland Luxury Nursery Items

After you have the nursery furniture picked out and your stroller and carseat purchase, the next obvious step is some linens and outfits. Storkland carries the best brands among them are Petit Pehr. Hooded towels, the softest swaddles you have ever felt and even an adorable swan mobile for over the crib. Petit Pehr is one of my favorite baby brands. They also have Aden & Anais. Target has carried Aden & Anais in the past, but I have always found that the Target ones are slightly less quality than the Aden & Anais swaddles found in boutiques like Storkland. Bibs, burp cloths, crib sheets and gowns all in the most unique and lovely prints. These aren’t loud, flashy, obnoxious prints. These are timeless, beautiful designs that will absolutely become an heirloom in your baby’s life if given the chance.

Storkland & Namedropper Kids

One of the best reasons to go to Storkland? It’s attached to Namedropper kids where you can go for all your beautiful heirloom clothing needs. Beyond heirloom clothing, they have swim suits, dresses and more. With sizes from Newborn to 16 years old you can do all of your shopping in one place. Heirloom and timeless quality is something extremely important to me and I find that Storkland really understands this same thing.

Storkland is the place for parents that want more. Something special. Just stopping into Target to get whatever seems to be in stock just doesn’t cut it.
